Mitchell is the owner/operator of Midwest Tool Inc in Chicago, where he has traded used machine tools and fabricating equipment worldwide since 1989. Mitchell has been active in developing international trade relationships, with a geographical focus in Latin America. Midwest Tool, Inc is an active member of the Machinery Dealers National Association.
In 1996, Mitchell co-founded Aljack Investments, Inc. with Steve DeGraff. The company started with the purchase of one building in Chicago’s Bucktown neighborhood. Today, Aljack currently owns and manages over 500 units in some of the most desirable neighborhoods in the Chicagoland area.
