Nicolette brings over 20 years of experience in public and private accounting, with concentrations in the industry sectors of real estate, construction, service, and manufacturing, and distribution. She began her career as an auditor at Plante Moran, a certified public accounting and business advisory firm, as an auditor in the real estate and construction industry. She then served for 10 years as President and CFO at a family-owned food distribution company before returning to Plante Moran in a consulting role, with a focus on assisting startup companies in establishing robust accounting systems, policies, and procedures.
At Alecko, Nicolette oversees the operations of all entities within the organization. Her responsibilities extend to implementing comprehensive accounting policies and procedures, as well as contributing to the financial analysis of potential investments. This role leverages her auditing and consulting background as well as her executive leadership experience. Nicolette volunteers at her children’s school, serving as the School Board Finance Chair and as a volleyball coach.
